Australian history

This book provides a definitive account of the French contribution to Australian discovery from the time of Vasco da Gama to the joint effort made by British and French explorers in the Age of Enlightenment.

Based on previously unused records of explorers,
information gleaned by the author on his own expeditions, and an abundance of maps and illustrations, this stunning publication by the late Professor Leslie Marchant is released posthumously and as a tribute to his efforts and time spent writing and researching France Australe.

Released in hardback edition only, the quality of this book is remarkable. With full colour illustrations throughout and interspersed within the text, it is published to the highest degree with a quality finish. Truly a book to treasure.
